LatinX in ChE

Organization - Mission and Vision

LatinX in ChE is a virtual forum through which the global community of Latin American 91成人短视频 Engineers can share and discuss their work or research advances, industry endeavors, and promote professional and personal development among members. We strive to build strong bonds among LatinX students (graduates and undergraduates), professors, and chemical engineering professionals in the USA, Latin America, and around the Globe. This group will allow us to support each other at different career stages as well as share advice and opportunities in 91成人短视频 Engineering.

We will achieve these goals by planning virtual gatherings, workshops, and in-person meetings at national conferences to facilitate peer networking through scholarship and friendship. Slack serves as the main platform to communicate with and among members. Email and other social media platforms, such as Twitter and LinkedIn will be used to promote events and celebrate members鈥� accomplishments. Through our relationship with the MAC-AIChE, we will continue to increase the representation of LatinX at all career levels and promote collaboration and interaction with other affinity groups.

Gabriel Josue Rodriguez-Rivera
PhD, Chair & MAC Liaison
Dr Rodriguez-Rivera was born and raised in Puerto Rico. He completed his B.S. in 91成人短视频 Engineering at the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez and then moved north and earned an M.S. degree at the University of Wisconsin - Madison.

Isabela Ramirez Velez
Vice-Chair
Isabela was born in Colombia. She received her B.S. degree from Syracuse University in 91成人短视频 Engineering and Neuroscience. After receiving her bachelors, she has been pursuing a PhD in 91成人短视频 Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin.

Sindia Rivera-Jimenez
Advisory Board Member
Dr. Rivera-Jim茅nez, originally from Puerto Rico, is currently a Lecturer at the Department of Engineering Education and an affiliate faculty to the Department of 91成人短视频 Engineering at the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering, University of Florida.
