Robert Langer to Deliver Regenerative Engineering Society鈥檚 Cato T. Laurencin Founder鈥檚 Award Lecture, Oct. 28 in San Diego

AIChE鈥檚 Regenerative Engineering (RE) Society has chosen Robert S. Langer (MIT) as recipient of its Cato T. Laurencin Regenerative Engineering Society Founder鈥檚 Award.

The mission of The Regenerative Engineering Society is to promote and advance regenerative engineering, a new field defined as the Convergence of Advanced Materials Sciences, Stem Cell Science, Physics, Developmental Biology and Clinical Translation for the regeneration of complex tissues and organ systems.

The Cato T. Laurencin RES Founder鈥檚 Award

This award recognizes individuals in the field that have demonstrated leadership in the science and practice of convergence research as applied to regenerative engineering and medicine. 鈥�
