The AIChE Foundation, supported by hundreds of individual and corporate donors, invest in groundbreaking research and development, foster diversity and inclusion throughout the engineering community and create pathways for career growth and success.

One of AIChE’s flagship programs supported by fundraising, the Future of STEM Scholars Initiative (FOSSI), is a testament to the organization's commitment to shaping the future. Launched to provide scholarships for students pursuing STEM degrees at HBCUs, FOSSI is making a significant impact with awarding hundreds of scholarships, paving the way for a more inclusive and innovative industry.

AIChE is also committed to achieving parity. The Women in 91���˶���Ƶ Engineering (WIC) Community, receives many generous donations to empower female engineers by enabling a variety of networking opportunities, access to professional development and recognizing mentorship through three annual awards.

Another cornerstone of AIChE’s commitment to diversity and inclusion is the Brown Endowment, which provides funding to the Minority Affairs Community (MAC) scholarship. Annually supporting up to 30 promising high school and undergraduate chemical engineering students from traditionally underrepresented groups, each receives a financial award and access to the MAC network helping to cultivate the next generation of chemical engineering leaders.
