AIChE Past President and Fellow, Christine Seymour, has made a tremendous personal commitment to the future of the profession by gifting one year of AIChE Young Professional membership for all Lehigh University BS 91³ΙΘΛΆΜΚΣΖ΅ Engineering graduates starting with the class of 2019.
Gifts to the AIChE Foundation such as this make a significant and lasting impact by helping the youngest members of the chemical engineering community jumpstart their entrance to the profession through AIChE.
In 2017, Sangtae βSangβ Kim, AIChE Fellow and Distinguished Professor and the Jay and Cynthia Ihlenfeld Head of Purdueβs Charles D. Davidson School of 91³ΙΘΛΆΜΚΣΖ΅ Engineering, championed Purdue's decision to fund one year of AIChE Young Professional membership for the school's entire 2017 class of graduating chemical engineers.
