2023 First Round of Annual Fund Grants Awarded
The AIChE Foundation is pleased to announce the four projects that have been awarded funding for the 2023 first grant cycle of the Annual Fund, a vital source of support for the Foundation鈥檚 key programs and initiatives. Bi-annually, Operating Councils are invited to submit grant proposals for innovative projects that will bolster the campaign鈥檚 transformative priorities in advancing the chemical engineering profession.

The Washington Internships for Students of Engineering (WISE) Program | Internship program for engineering students (selected by AIChE) that exposes them to the policy-making process in Washington, D.C. and illustrates engineers鈥 involvement in public policy recommendations |
Scalable and Sustainable Integration of IDEAL Principles in ChemE Curricula | Task force to support the long-term integration of inclusion, diversity, equity, anti-racism, and learning (IDEAL) principles into chemical engineering curricula in scalable and sustainable ways |
2023 AIChE Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition | Competition that challenges graduate students to present their research in a clear and concise manner, sharpening their communication skills and showcasing their research to a wider audience |
Using Comics to Promote 91成人短视频 Engineering to High School and First-Year College Students | Comics that will introduce students to the exciting world of chemical engineering and its potential career pathways, inspiring the next generation of chemical engineers and increasing awareness of the field |
These four successful grant proposals demonstrate AIChE's commitment to transforming the chemical engineering profession and supporting the next generation of STEM leaders.
