CCPS Golden Rules and Key Principles
CCPS Golden Rules are designed to provide process safety professionals with information to deal with process safety hazards. These rules / tenets are based on absolute statements to address the inherent hazards associated with process technologies including FCC operations, the chlorine chemistry, nitration chemistry, peroxides, combustible dust, and others.
CCPS Key Principles address key elements of Process Safety Management Practices. The key principles presented reflect good, common, or successful practices and are intended to assist in the design and implementation of these elements. These principles are intended to strengthen and support Incident Investigation, Management of Change, and Operational Readiness programs.
