Alec Nielsen is co-founder and CEO of Asimov, a Boston-based startup building a mammalian cell programming platform to advance next-gen therapeutics. Alec holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Bioengineering from the University of Washington and a Ph.D. from MIT Biological Engineering. His work focuses on scalable biochemistries for synthetic biology, computer-aided design of cellular functions, and machine learning applications in genetic design and biosecurity.
