Internship Program: Data Analytics
ILI Practice+
AIChE has established a data analytics focused internship program that connects companies and potential interns. Companies assign their selected interns a hands-on project with a focus on data analytics, and a technical mentor. Interns participate in on-demand training to develop their communication and leadership skills, as well as technical expertise in such areas as Python, data visualization, statistical programming, and other technical topics.
As a capstone to the program, interns will communicate, through a final presentation:
- How the new concepts learned connect to the work performed throughout the internship
- Technical lessons learned and how the work will benefit future generations
- Professional skills learned and how those skills will advance the intern鈥檚 career and contribute to success in the workforce

Eligibility Requirements
- Be in good standing with an accredited college or university
- Level of undergraduate or graduate will be determined by recruiting companies
- Be an AIChE undergraduate or graduate member
- Be at least 18 years old at the time of appointment
- Have an updated resume
