Linde Engineering has successfully developed and marketed a range of processes, which cover the range between 50 t/d and 5,000 t/d LNG product. These processes are typically based on the efficient LIMUM庐 process, which is Linde's proprietary SMR technology. However, N2 expander based processes like EcoRel (a trademark of Cryostar, a Linde company) can also be chosen, if the focus lies on ease of operation and safety. Cryogenic heat exchangers can be selected from a large portfolio including brazed aluminum plate-fin heat exchangers (also available in block-in-shell configuration) and coil wound heat exchangers fabricated from aluminum or stainless steel.
