Session Description:
This session explores improving petrochemical processing through increased distillation efficiency and better heat exchanger monitoring. Improving separations processes energy efficiency is highly dependent on choices made in distillation and effective use of heat exchangers. Distillation issues will be explored by looking at techniques being utilized to increase efficiency and troubleshoot distillation column control. Examples of applying data analytics to exchanger performance to determine poor performance, anticipate problems and help identify corrections will be discussed.
