ChemE-Sports - Distillation Operations Competition
This year鈥檚 program will feature a virtual ChemE-Sports Competition on optimization and safety, open to all undergraduate AIChE student members, using a simulated distillation column provided by PetroSkills - Simulation Solutions. All competitors will work through multiple scenarios for the first round with the highest scoring teams advancing to the knockout rounds. The competitors will be given real-life scenarios that could be observed in a plant and an objective to complete within a given timeframe. Scoring will be based upon both the profitability and the safety of the unit during the simulated run for each team.
Get a team together of 2-4 students and sign up to see if you have what it takes to place!
