Process Industry Practices (PIP) is a consortium of more than 100 Process Industry Owners and EPC Contractors. Member companies participate in the PIP initiative to reduce costs associated with their facility design and construction, as well as the time and expense of maintaining their own internal company standards. Member company volunteers examine and harmonize common engineering practices, which are documented in the "PIP Practices." This collection of more than 500 Practices spans fourteen engineering disciplines and is utilized worldwide throughout diverse process industries.
