“Ethics and Your Engineering Responsibility”

Ethics is an important part of our regular work as engineers, and licensed engineers are required to complete at least 2 hours of training in ethics every two years; yet few universities require engineering students to attend a formal ethics course. Via discussion of case studies, attendees of this presentation will be introduced to the concept of ethics, the warning signs of a potential ethical problem and how it can affect your career, and steps you can take to protect your professional integrity.

Peter Sibilski has over 40 years of experience in project management, product development, and energy management in the process-chemical and pharmaceuticals industries. He received his BSChE in 1981 from New Jersey Institute of Technology, and has an MBA in Technology Management from The University of Phoenix. Peter is a licensed P.E. in New Jersey, and is also a Certified Energy Manager (CEM).
