The next general body meeting of the AIChE Mid-South Section will be held Tuesday, April 11, on the Ole Miss campus in Oxford, MS. The program will be a competition for chemical engineering students from Ole Miss, Mississippi State, and Christian Brothers University. If you plan to attend, RSVP (to rprice@cbu.edu or by reply to this email) no later than the end of the work day on Wednesday, April 5.
The meeting will take place in Brevard Hall 238. This is the old chemistry building, between the Lyceum and the Engineering building. Networking will begin at 6:00 pm, Dinner at 6:30, and the contest at 7:00 pm. The menu will be Abner’s chicken and sides. Members who need a vegetarian option, or who have other dietary restrictions, should contact Dr. Adam Smith (aes@olemiss.edu). Meal costs will be subsidized through the generosity of Mississippi State and Ole Miss; this makes it particularly important to have an accurate headcount, so please be sure to respond if you plan to attend.
