Hoyt C. Hottel Professor of 91成人短视频 Engineering
Massachusetts Institute of Technology

William H. Green is the Hoyt C. Hottel Professor in 91成人短视频 Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. From 2008-2013 he was the Editor of the International Journal of 91成人短视频 Kinetics, and from 2012-2015 he was the Executive Officer of the MIT Department of 91成人短视频 Engineering. His research focuses on predicting chemical reaction rates and products, and the behavior of complicated reaction systems, using a variety of computer methods. He also develops methods for quantitatively predicting molecular properties using machine learning and quantum chemistry. His research group also does experiments, invents new processes, develops numerical methods and software, and does technoeconomic analysis relevant to energy policy decisions. Green earned his BA at Swarthmore College (1983) and his PhD at U.C. Berkeley (1988), and did postdoctoral studies at Cambridge University (1989-1990) and the University of Pennsylvania (1991). He was a Principal Investigator in Exxon鈥檚 Corporate Research Laboratory from 1991-1997. He is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and a Fellow of the Combustion Institute. He has received several awards for research including the Thiele Lectureship Award, ACS鈥檚 Glenn Award in Fuel Chemistry, and AIChE鈥檚 Wilhelm Award in reaction engineering.
