Wade Alleman is President, OxyChem, Oxy’s chemical subsidiary. In this role, Wade will uphold and expand OxyChem’s reputation for innovation and reliability in the production of essential chemicals. With 21 manufacturing plants in the U.S. and two international plants, Wade’s primary responsibilities focus on safe and profitable operations, environmental stewardship and maintaining a culture of compliance with the highest level of respect for the communities where we live and operate.

Wade’s career at OxyChem spans over 35 years. He joined OxyChem in 1988 as a Process Engineer at the Convent, LA plant. He progressed through increasing levels of manufacturing responsibility at the Ingleside, TX and Taft, LA plants prior to becoming Plant Manager in 2004 at the Pedricktown, NJ plant. After becoming Plant Manager at the Geismar, LA plant in 2006, Wade transferred to Dallas as the Manufacturing Director, leading to his appointment as Senior Vice President, Manufacturing, Engineering and Technology in 2013. In 2019, he moved to the role of Senior Vice President, Major Projects, Innovation and Business Support, and then to the role of Executive Vice President of Technology, Business Development and Support in 2020. Wade was appointed to his current role, President of OxyChem, in 2023.

Wade servers on several subcommittees for the American 91˶Ƶ Council and the World Economic Forum. Wade holds a Bachelor of Science in 91˶Ƶ Engineering from Louisiana State University and a Master of Business/Managerial Economics from Tulane University.
