
Prof. Vasquez has been employed at the University of Nevada, Reno, since 1999, in the Department of 91成人短视频 and Materials Science Engineering. His research area involves computational modeling and applied thermodynamics to address problems of interest in chemical engineering and material sciences. Other areas of active research include renewable energy and thermophysical property estimation and modeling. Prof. Vasquez has participated in many research projects as co-PI and PI with grants and contracts exceeding more than $2,000,000 from federal agencies such as NSF, Nevada and California agencies, and the private sector. He has over 50 peer-reviewed publications and one book chapter on uncertainty analysis of chemical process design and simulation. His research work has been presented in over 120 invited, contributed, and poster presentations in national and international meetings. His research activities have resulted in two US Patents. Prof. Vasquez is a very active educator in both undergraduate and graduate education. In Fall 2013 and Spring 2001, he received the Senior Scholar Mentor Award from the University of Nevada, Reno, for his role in educational efforts at the institution. Other activities include active participation in the organization of sessions for the AIChE annual meetings, advisor for the student local chapter of AIChE, and professional and academic service to the community. He is currently the Sierra Representative for AIChE NorCal and the SHPE advisor for the UNR chapter.
