Seshu Dharmavaram, PhD, CCPSC, is a Global Process Safety Leader at Air Products (and previously at DuPont) with more than 35 years of experience in process and environmental engineering and process safety management. His expertise includes intrinsic hazards assessments, consequence analyses, qualitative and quantitative risk analyses, chemical reactivity hazards assessments, process risk management, and highly toxic materials management. Dharmavaram holds a bachelor鈥檚 degree in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Kanpur), a master鈥檚 from the Univ. of Oklahoma, and a PhD from the Univ. of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a Fellow of AIChE and CCPS and has a CCPS Process Safety Certification (CCPSC). He is currently a Board Member of the AIChE Ammonia Safety Committee.
