Richard Sherwood is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Brigham and Women鈥檚 Hospital and Harvard Medical School. He received a BS in Biology from Stanford University and a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Harvard University. He runs a research lab that combines genomics, CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing, stem cell biology, and machine learning to understand how genome sequence encodes gene regulatory activity and to predict how changes in patients鈥� genome sequences cause disease.
