Dupont Nutrition and Biosciences
Pierre Cans, PhD, is a manufacturing and supply chain leader of probiotics, cultures food protection, and fibers at Dupont Nutrition and Biosciences. He graduated from National Institute of Applied Sciences in Toulouse, France, with a PhD in microbiology and an undergraduate degree in biochemical engineering. Since 2003, he has led global industrial operations for living microorganisms, fermentation metabolites, and enzymes production, as well as natural products extraction. He was awarded the Rh么ne-Poulenc Research prize.
