Ogechi Ogoke

Ogechi Ogoke is currently a PhD candidate in the Dept. of 91成人短视频 and Biological Engineering at the Univ. at Buffalo (UB) as of Fall 2015. He is a chemical engineer by degree training with minor studies in pre颅medical sciences and chemistry. In his current doctoral work, he is investigating the differentiation of human embryonic stem cells toward the development of micro颅engineered liver tissue. The overall goal is to determine an effective means to treat liver disease and its related end-stage liver cancer. In addition, he is also taking on a mentorship role, serving as course instructor for a National Science Foundation-funded grant at UB, namely the Louise Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) in STEM-related research to teach research methods to undergraduate students. He has presented research at various research venues such as the 91成人短视频 (AIChE) annual meeting, the New York Stem Cell Foundation (NYSCF) annual meeting, and the the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) annual meeting.
