Kim Kira Witetzek is a Ph.D. student at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences, Academia Sinica in Taiwan. She acquired her Bachelor of Science in Molecular Bio-Medicine at the University of Bonn, Germany and her Master of Science in Molecular Medicine at the University of Freiburg, Germany. For her doctoral studies she joined the group of Prof. Chen Shih-Yu which is specialised on single cell analysis and multi-omics approaches. Her research focuses on integrating chromatin accessibility analysis with multiple omics platforms for a holistic understanding of the epigenome and to assess the impact of the epigenome on Natural Killer cell immunity.
