Jayant D. Divey is a polyolefins technology consultant supporting clients in technology evaluation and selection, process design, and troubleshooting for petrochemicals plants. He retired as a senior vice president from Reliance Industries Ltd., where he was responsible for polyolefins technologies in integrated petrochemicals complexes. He has 40 years of extensive experience with polyethylene and polypropylene technologies and has published several articles on the subject. Divey also worked as a technology manager in fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) light olefins handling of C2, C3, C4, and C5 hydrocarbons. He has led many projects from concept to commissioning through design basis and engineering. Divey has a BS in chemical engineering from the Laxminarayan Institute of Technology Nagpur Univ. and an MS in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute Technology-Bombay.
