DONALD J. GLATZ is the Manager of Extraction Technology for Koch Modular Process Systems, LLC (, 45 Eisenhower Dr., Paramus, NJ 07652; Phone: (201) 267-8670; Email: donald.glatz@kochmodular.com), which designs and provides modularly constructed reaction and mass-transfer systems for the chemical process industries. In his current position, Glatz focuses on evaluation and optimization of extraction processes plus scale-up and design of extraction systems. He has 30 years of experience in the field and has published numerous papers and articles covering extraction. He is a frequent speaker at AIChE and International Solvent Extraction conferences. He also presents technical seminars covering extraction technology. Glatz holds a BS in chemical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson Univ.
