CHARLES A. BROWN, P.E., is a retired chemical engineer (Bellingham, WA; Phone: 360-650-9511; Email: casibrown@msn.com). He received his BS in chemical engineering from Washington State Univ. and his MS with emphasis in environmental from the Univ. of Washington. His career included process engineering and process design work in petroleum refining (BP, VECO), air pollution control and regulations (Radian), aluminum production (Kaiser), and nuclear power reactor support systems (General Atomic). He has been an instructor of 鈥淒esigning Air Pollution Control Equipment鈥� for the AIChE Academy, a previous Director of the Environmental Div., and a past Chair for the Puget Sound Local Section.
