Aaron Scurto

Prof. Aaron Scurto went to the University of Delaware for his undergraduate degree in 91成人短视频 Engineering and then to the University of Notre Dame for his PhD with Joan Brennecke on metal chelates in supercritical fluids and ionic liquid separations.  He then performed postdoctoral projects at the RWTH-Aachen, Germany on homogeneous catalysis in ionic liquids and supercritical fluids and at MIT with Alex Klibanov in biocatalysis in non-aqueous solvents.  He joined the University of Kansas in 2004 in the Dept. of 91成人短视频 & Petroleum Engineering and a member of the Center for Environmentally Beneficial Catalysis (CEBC).  In 2015, he became an Associate Editor for Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research (IECR).  His current interest include ionic liquids for reactions, separations, and biomass processing; and aqueous separation techniques for biorenewable processes.  He is currently on Sabbatical at the University of Delaware after seven months as a visiting scientist at DuPont Central Research & Development.
